Tara Bryan - What passes for spring
5/15/2010-6/5/2010
Icebergs arrive from a great distance, appear and then quietly disappear. The magnetic pull of their shape, mass and luminosity compelled Tara Bryan to take thousands of photographs of icebergs from the shore in many bays around Newfoundland over a twenty year period. Pictures from her personal archive and images gathered from the archive of the Environmental Services Division of PAL are the source material for a new series of oil paintings entitled What Passes for Spring.

Opening Reception, Saturday, May 15 from 2 – 5 pm.
