	Angela Antle ~ New Paintings 7/16/2008-8/2/2008 These paintings explore our obsession with creating order in the natural world. There's a push and pull in the work between beauty and decay. While depicting idyllic natural scenes, the images are 'marred' by the accidental drips and splatters of the hot wax and the gouges and scraping that I use to build texture and break it down again.
